Morning Chuckle
While working out this morning, I was chugging along on the treadmill, panting breathing heavily, and sweating profusely. Really, when working out, there is no "cute" way to sweat. Which is why I don't get why some women are in full make up and hair done just right. The make-up is only going to smear and your hair will be all messy and well, wet if you sweat. But I digress... Where was I? Oh yeah, there I was in full work-out mode, when I heard my neighbor to the right of me. He was running on the machine, face intent, looking forward, listening to his ipod, when he started singing. LOUDLY! Everyone turned to look at him, some of us chuckled, some laughed out loud. But no one would tell him that we could all hear him sing. He was oblivious to us, he was in "the zone". Finally, because I felt bad for him, I reached over and tapped his arm. He looked startled, he slowed down his pace and removed the ear piece. I politely told him that we could hear him singing and then I smiled, trying hard not to start laughing. His face turned all kinds of red and he thanked me for telling him. Poor guy, he looked really embarrassed. I resumed my heavy panting on the treadmill and he resumed his running. But this time, he did not put the earpiece back in.

I sing in the shower, Yvonne, and I would not be the least bit offended if you tapped me on the arm and told me you could hear it.
Hahaha that's funny. I remember once after doing the STAR testing I plugged in my Zune and my Yearbook advisor told me after the session that I was singing quietly and that everyone was snickering at me. And people wonder why I don't listen to my Zune out in public too often.

You know that is awesome. I think we would all be happier people if life were more like a musical... meaning it were perfectly natural to break into song at any given moment and that be the NORMAL thing to do. Seriously. That would be soooo cool.
That is hilarious. I was waiting in line for gas a couple weeks ago and some lady had gone into the store for coffee leaving her car sitting there even though there was clearly a line. I politely rolled down my window and called out to her. She responded with, "I know. I am so sorry. I just really needed my coffee." I simply said, "That's great but you have a curler still in the back of your hair." She was mortified and claimed she was going to kill her husband and kids, whom she had seen giggling this morning, but had said nothing! hahaha.
That is such a cute story. I like Robin's idea of living in a musical; one like "Hairspray".
Shady - you're too much kid!
Ditz- lol oh no!!!
Robin - wouldn't it though? i think that would be so much fun!
Jewels- whaaat? lmao! that's funny and mean at the same time! lol
Belle - OMG! Hairspray would be perfect! Or even Chicago!
Oh that would be me, totally. I sing constantly while I have my headphones on. Probably drive people nuts
Ok, I have to say I love this guy! I could quite possibly marry him (if I wasn't all ready). It would be nice to see such human qualities. My gym is fully of big, ugly guys who lifts weights the size of my house and grunt like their in the middle of sex! Give me some singing!
I can just imagine your reaction. I giggle as I type this!
Thanks for commenting on my blog. I wanted to let you know that I normally do this thing called HERE'S TO YOU THURSDAY. I dedicated something to you last week or the week before. Can't remember. I missed yesterday and am doing it today. Anyway, I am tagging you again. I usually don't tell people. You just have to make sure to drop in on Thursdays...
