I'm grateful for many, many things in my life. I know that I bitch a lot about men, dating, friends, injustices, past loves, stupid things, etc. So in honor of the first day of the month. I thought I would post some of the things I'm grateful for in my life. As a fellow blogger pointed out to me last night, sometimes focusing on those "gratefuls" help us stay on that positive path that I for one, am trying so hard not to stray from.
Thanks Ecco! :)
I'm Grateful:
For my health, my family, my job, the unconditional love of family and friends, my writing, the endless possibilities that I have yet to unravel in my life.
Those are but a few of my "I'm gratefuls" -I've said this before but it bears repeating, I truly am a lucky girl!

It's funny how we always make time to count our woes and regrets and forget to give equal time to our blessings, but we must do it in the interest of fair and balanced reporting.
The best medicine in the ongoing battle against our demons is to maintain a good sense of humor. I am reminded of the final scene in the star studded 1963 movie comedy It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. The entiure male cast winds up in a hospital ward facing an uphill battle against serious injuries and a mountain of legal problems; but when the loudmouthed Ethel Merman slips on a banana peel and lands on her butt, every man forgets his troubles and bursts out laughing. I don't know about you but I'd rather laugh and have fun than sit around depressed. It is a choice that we make. Get that music on and crank it to the max. Sing, dance, act goofy...whatever it takes. You will reprogram your nervous system and experince joy. It works!
Thanks Shady! I liked your example! lol
Many times I have counted the things I am grateful for. It always helps.
