"You've Got Virus"

Nothing better than getting a text from a friend that says, "You're infecting everyone! You slut!"  Of course he was kidding.  I'm NOT infecting anyone! :)  Such a jester he is!  So apparently, my Hotmail account contracted a virus and is now bombarding all of my contacts with emails and who knows what else!  As I've already done on Facebook, let me apologize here, to any and all who have been affected or should that read, infected?  Mia culpa, mia culpa, mia culpa.

Moving on.

A few of you have sent me emails (I bet you regret that now don't you?) with words of encouragement and comfort regarding my impromptu unemployment status.  You have no idea how much I appreciate each and every one that I received.  They help me in ways you will never know.  Thank you for lifting my spirits and in some cases, making me laugh.  I appreciate it very much and love you all to pieces!

It's only Tuesday and I've been on two interviews already.  One yesterday, one today and one tomorrow. I hate playing this "wait and see" game but it must be done right?  I'll keep you posted if there is any news! Keep the positive energy and prayers coming! Pretty please.  Aside from that, I've been working on my book, and catching up on my reading.  I've been neglecting both recently and it's time to get back at it.

In other news, I signed up for a mini boot camp.  It starts June 1st and runs through June 21st.  Three weeks of hell exercise and drill sergeants (real ones, not the "pretend" ones) and sweat and torture on my body. Yay!  One of my friends is doing it at her gym and she asked if I wanted to do it with her.  I agreed. What was I thinking??? Not a lot obviously.  Actually, I think it will be good for me. We'll see what I'm made of and how much I can take! ha!

Well kids, that's I got for tonight.  I know, I know, it's lame. But I'm emotionally and physically drained right now. All I want to do is crawl into bed and dream about, well, stuff I'm not supposed to be dreaming about.

I digress.

Until tomorrow! Same Bat-time, same Bat-channel.

2 interviews already and another scheduled for tomorrow? Really? I'm officially jealous! Great going! Between the dog and not yet having the car fixed, I haven't had time to do anything but make a phone call or two. Best of luck girlfreind.

Getting interviews is a major victory for any job seeker right now, it's tough regardless of your expertise right now. Chin up cupcake! Congrats on your boot camp courage, that's awesome!

Great news! Hope you can keep the interviews rolling your way!

And you might want to change your hotmail password. Sometimes this happens because your account has been compromised. Hotmail, for the most part, is very good about keeping real virsues out. So I think this might just be a password issue on your end.

Then again, it might not.

And bootcamp? What does this entail? You don't actually have to stay overnight somewhere like fitness camp or something, do you?

It sounds like a good idea, tho. It'll be pure torture, sure, but worth it in the long run if it can get you started on a regular routine that you can carry forward even after the program ends.

Good luck!

We have those boot camps at my gym, but I'm not stupid enough to join! LOL No, really I am proud of you for doing it. I'll bet you end up loving it.

Wow! I'm so glad there are jobs to be had in Houston. Fantastic! I know you will get one soon, Sweetie.

Tracy - meh! i can't afford for grass to grow under my feet! :) thank you for your words!

Robyn- I'm trying! Thank you!

Ditzy- your words made me cry! thank you soooo much! :)

MS- I got lucky, I guess. I'm hitting the malls tomorrow. Kidding. Maybe. :)

RG- ha! I know, I know! Thanks very much Randy! :)

David - Regarding my hotmail issue, I changed my password so hopefully that took care of it. -thanks for the suggstion though! As far as boot-camp, it entails cardio training and conditioning drills, and alternating between different stations set up for pushups, bench presses, jump rope, and even stability ball work. It’s the ultimate blitzkrieg of strength, agility, speed and balance! -or so my pamphlet states. My whole reasoning behind it is to start in motion a program I can stick with after the boot camp is over. The cardio that I'm doing now is not enough. So I've brought out the big guns! :) As far as my job hunting, positive, positive, positive! Thanks for your encouragement!

Belle- lol I told you I was crazy! Thanks so much!

Good to hear you're already having interviews. If you get a job right away, will you send along your luck to my husband as we are looking to move to Texas and can't seem to get past the first phone interview. And he's been told he gives great phone... we're not sure what the problem is other than the jobs randomly changing into other specifications, etc. We're starting to think maybe we need a local address! In the meantime, we're OK with a good job here on the West Coast, but would love to be where you are!

Interesting, I've been told that myself! hahaha (giving great phone)
